One hand holds a weapon light ax (mazhu in Tamil) and the second hand holds an idol of deer, the third and fourth hands display Varada and Abhaya mudras. The combined display of both the mudras represents the sustenance functions. The weapon symbolizes, eliminating the negative energy of devotees. The four legs of the idol deer represent the four Vedas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The symbolic representation of the deity reveals that he would bestow boons and answer the prayers of devotees to unlock the doors of the wisdom of sameness and prevent the delusion of pride.
