ARULMIGU IRULAPPAR

The deity is in the standing posture positioned on the western side of Veerabhadrar in the same shrine. He is depicted as holding a maze (weapon) in the raised position; in his right hand, and designed as having a small sword in the sheath, on the left side of his waist. He wears a rudraksha garland on his neck, and looks majestic with a twisted mustache. Devotees worship Irulappar to dispel their confusion and frightening state of mind and to bless them.
